Terms of Service

1. Who operates Vaz.im

These terms govern your use of Vaz.im, operated by Vaz.im. Questions about the service may be sent to support@vaz.im.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Do not share access in a way that enables abuse or evades service limits.

3. The service and immutable destinations

Vaz.im creates short URLs and QR codes that point to those short URLs. After a short link is issued, its destination cannot be edited, replaced, or repointed. Create a new link when you need a different destination. Issued codes are not reused for unrelated destinations.

A code being issued does not guarantee permanent availability. Links may expire or be disabled, blocked, restricted, or made unavailable for operational, safety, legal, or policy reasons.

4. Your URLs and conduct

You are responsible for destinations you submit and must have the right to share them. You may not use Vaz.im in violation of law, third-party rights, or our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

5. Enforcement and termination

We may investigate reports and restrict, block, suspend, or terminate links, accounts, or network access when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or third parties; enforce these terms; or comply with law. Urgent safety action may occur without advance notice. Closing an account does not necessarily remove issued short links.

6. Content and intellectual property

You retain rights you hold in submitted material. Vaz.im does not own, endorse, or control third-party destinations. Third-party names, sites, and content remain the responsibility of their respective owners. The Vaz.im service, branding, and original software or content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

7. Availability and changes

We may maintain, modify, limit, or discontinue parts of the service. The service may experience outages, delays, data loss, or security incidents. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent link availability, or that every destination will remain reachable.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vaz.im is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted and error-free operation. We are not responsible for third-party destinations or content.

To the extent permitted by law, Vaz.im will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid Vaz.im during the preceding twelve months or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so these limits apply only as far as lawful.

9. Responsibility for claims

Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for reasonable claims, losses, and costs arising from your unlawful use of Vaz.im, destinations you submit, or material violation of these terms. This provision will be reviewed with the final operator identity and jurisdiction before launch.

The governing law and venue are currently designated as: Pending owner and legal review. This placeholder requires owner and legal review before production launch.
